Over the past five years, Amy worked as a full-time culinary producer, recipe developer and food stylist for Panna Cooking, a video recipe website and app featuring celebrity chefs cooking in step-by-step video.

In 2018, Amy won the James Beard Media Award: Producer/Video Webcast, Fixed Location and/or Instructional.

Amy worked side-by-side in the kitchen with esteemed chefs such as Daniel Boulud, Andrew Zimmern, Marcus Samuelsson, VIvian Howard, and Michael Solomonov to execute their recipes and techniques on air. Working with celebrity chefs demanded an exacting attention to detail, ingredients, and flavor, with mastery of both savory cooking and pastry.

Amy’s experience has taken her on-location, as culinary producer traveling the country from New Orleans to Portland for the filming of A+E’s Love at First Bite. As the sole culinary producer, she executed intricate food scenes for TV, cooked and styled beauty shots and wrote the recipes for the show.

Past experience include an instructor at Kings Cooking School, publisher of two cookbooks (memoirs of a Home Cook, Secrets of a Home Cook), food columnist for the hyper-local news website Patch.com, self-employed caterer, and sales representative at Cosmopolitan and Redbook magazines. Amy’s an avid home cook and when she’s not working, she’s baking bread with her sourdough starter.
